We have received a lot of input regarding the filters. And we hear you - as they are super powerful they are also very detailed. We are working on making them easier to use. This work will continue through few releases.
We have used a word projectrole for the combination of project, role and (optional) user. As this word is not widely known to other but Silverbucket users and to give you more control on what you are filtering - we have split it to Assigned roles and Unassigned roles.
Which represent these two types of project ⟶ role relationships. Top ones are unassigned as they have no user assigned to them and the bottom ones are assigned as they have users assigned to them.
With the separated filtering sections you can filter down these two types of roles separately.
Grouping factors like people, project and task are not directly attached to allocations and you could get very confusing results when trying to filter them with allocation status. Because it is not clear what it even tries to do - without understanding the database structure. This new naming is aimed for giving more guide on what the filter actually does.
Wording group is now more aligned around the interface as you are working with groups. For example in this view I'm viewing allocations grouped by an user.
will hide the groups that have zero entities with them. In this example groups Cat and Charlie Evans are empty.
will help you get rid of empty roles. In this example you would get rid of the second Unassigned role and Ella Anderson.
