Quickstart Guide

1) Signing into Your Company's Silverbucket Environment

Generally your company's Silverbucket login page is located in:

<organisationname>.agbucket.com

Once you are in the login page, use your email & password to login. When signing in for the first time or if you forgot your password, please follow this  GUIDE  to reset your password.

2) Add People and Projects

To start resourcing you need to have people and projects in Silverbucket.

2.1 Adding People

To add people to the environment head over to PEOPLE view and click +ADD NEW USER
In the upcoming view you can dictate  all the necessary data  for the user you are creating.
To add multiple users at the same time, refer to our  SYNC  guide.

2.2 Adding Projects

To add projects to the environment head over to PROJECTS view and click +ADD PROJECT
In the upcoming view you can dictate  all the necessary data  for the project you are creating.
To add multiple users at the same time, refer to our  SYNC  guide.

3) Create Your Project Team and Start Resourcing

Quickest way to find your newly created project - or any entity in Silverbucket - is through the magnifying glass / SuperSearch (shortcut: tap SS on your keyboard).
In the SuperSearch view, you can search with keywords to find the people and projects you are after.

Once you are on your project's dashboard, you can  start adding people  (or unassigned roles) for your project in the PLANNING tab by clicking the +ADD PROJECT MEMBERSHIP button.

After the people (or unassigned roles) are added to your project, you can start making allocations for them. One resourcing slot and the number inside the slot will always represent the  chosen time mode and view mode  on the resource grid. These can be changed top-right of the resourcing grid.

Once you have added the necessary people and chosen the desired modes that suit your needs you can start resourcing. Fastest way to  resource  is by simply painting over the desired slots and afterwards selecting the amount you wish to resource.

4) Making Resource Allocations for Unassigned Roles

Unassigned roles are useful when it is yet unknown who will perform the work but you know the amount of work needed for it.

To use the Unassigned Roles to the fullest, you need to first create the desired roles in the system. Creating new roles is done in the  ADMIN view  - enter the ADMIN view from the top-right corner of the screen and select Roles.

New roles can be added with the +ADD ROLE button.

After the roles are created in Silverbucket, you can add Unassigned Roles for projects by clicking the 'ADD PROJECT MEMBERSHIP' button. If you leave the USER field empty, it creates an unassigned role/membership for the project:

5) Find all the Available Resources - See the 'Big Picture'

The best way to look for available resources is in the PEOPLE view. Here, you can find the  ALLOCATION GRAPH  which shows you the capacity of the listed people. Below it you can find a list of the people based on your  filters . This view offers two pieces of vital information: the total allocation situation in the organisation and the workloads of the people on an individual level.
