The Move to Resource action lets you reassign a person's project allocations to another resource. This is useful when someone is overallocated, going on leave, or unexpectedly unavailable.

Open the three-dot menu on any project membership row and select Move to resource. A dialog will appear with the following fields:
- User — the resource you want to move the allocations to
- Role — the role they will hold on the project
- Date — the start of the period you want to move (optional)
- Until — the end of the period you want to move (optional)
Allocations and comments within the selected date range will be moved to the new resource. If you leave both date fields blank, all allocations are moved. If you set only a start date, all allocations from that date onwards are moved.
Allocations and any associated comments within the defined date range are reassigned to the selected resource. The original project membership remains; only the allocations within the specified period are transferred.
If the original resource is only temporarily unavailable — for example, they are on sick leave for two weeks — set both a start and end date to move only the allocations that fall within that window. Allocations outside the range stay with the original resource.
