Authorization groups can provide an additional layer of user rights in Silverbucket environments. Authorization groups are created by the Silverbucket support. After a group is created we will provide additional information on how they work and how they should be administered. Authorization groups are always a global group, granting global user rights to a person included in the group.

Authorization groups can be added instantly for new users once they are created. This can be based on the person's Employment type information (Own / External)

Access to Admin Tool: often used hand-in-hand with multi-organization user rights; grants the visibility to the ADMIN view's following tabs:
Authorization groups
User groups
Organizations
default-ext / default-own: groups used in the background, should not be used
Full access read-only: grants read-only access rights to Silverbucket; most commonly used for API users to read data from Silverbucket.
Update Basic Information: often used hand-in-hand with multi-organization user rights; grants the visibility to the ADMIN view's following tabs:
