Filtering Categories

Filtering Categories

In the new UI, every filter is found under their corresponding filtering category.

If you filter data based on a Silverbucket role, it can be found from multiple different categories:
  • UNASSIGNED
  • ASSIGNED
  • ROLE
In the PEOPLE category you also have the "Default role" filter which looks at the person's default role in their BASIC information tab.
Therefore it is important to pick the filter from the correct category to achieve the desired results when filtering data.

PEOPLE

Filters in this category filter your data based on the person's basic information fields and competencies:
You can also find filters that allow you to filter based on that person's resourcing situation, such as Utilization Range.

UNASSIGNED

Unassigned memberships are filtered with the UNASSIGNED category. This means all the memberships that have a red background; those membership rows that do not have a person tied to them yet:

ASSIGNED

Assigned memberships are the membership rows that have a person tied to them. These can be found with a white or blue (=external) background in Silverbucket.

PROJECT

Filters in this category filter your data based on the project's basic information fields and project's risks:

TASK

Project's tasks can also be filtered in the new UI:

ROLE

Role category is used to filter the data created in the ADMIN →  ROLES  view.
Similarly, it filters data for both the UNASSIGNED and ASSIGNED memberships as a membership always has a role tied to it.
In the PEOPLE tab, you can filter the UNASSIGNED section with this category's filters:

PROGRAM

Program category's filters are used to filter data based on projects' programs. This category can filter down the projects in the PROJECTS view as a program can be tied to a project - but it can also be used to narrow down the listing in the PROGRAMS view:

CUSTOMER

Customer category's filters are used to filter data based on projects' customers. This category can filter down the projects in the PROJECTS view as customer is always tied to a project - but it can also be used to narrow down the listing in the CUSTOMERS view:

RESOURCING REQUEST

Resourcing Requests can also be filtered easily in the new UI:
