Sparkles What Are Resourcing Requests?

A Resourcing Request is a structured way to communicate and manage your resource needs. It allows project managers and team leads to collaborate with resource owners, ensuring the right person is allocated to the right role.

Plus Two Ways to Create a Request

You can create a resourcing request either:

1. From Scratch (Manual Form)

Use this when you know the role or person you need, even if no placeholder exists yet.
Round Pushpin Navigate to the Requests tab and click "Add a request" in the top right corner.

2. From Unassigned Project Memberships

Use this when you’ve already defined placeholder roles in your project plan.
Round Pushpin In the project resourcing view, locate the placeholder and open the action menu.Select "Create a resourcing request" from the list.
This will copy over the role data into a new request.

Once the request is created, you can:
  • Adjust the allocation (start and end dates, workload).
  • Add description or comments.
  • Suggest a specific assignee.
All changes are saved within the request for easy collaboration and tracking.

Check Mark Button Accepting & Allocating

Once the request is finalized, update the status to Accepted.
