We sent you an email dated [DATE], where we informed you that we will close access to our old UI on 1 January 2027. Here we will gather the most frequently asked questions. Please feel free to send any questions you may have to support@silverbucket.com. We will gather them and answer them here in August.
When will this change take place?
Access to the old Silverbucket interface will be removed on 1 January 2027. You have until then to make the switch. We will be in touch again after the summer with further updates and live sessions.
Why is this changing?
We have been building and improving the new Silverbucket interface since 2021. It is now where all new features are developed and where future investment is focused. Maintaining two separate interfaces creates limitations for our team and, ultimately, for you. Completing this transition allows us to move faster and deliver more.
How will it affect me?
If your team is already using the new interface, you may not notice much difference. If some users are still on the old interface, they will need to switch before the end of the year. We recommend informing your team now and using the summer period to get familiar.
Do I need to do anything?
No. This change will happen automatically and we will provide a detailed transition plan. We will also have webinars available in both Finnish and English where you will have a chance to ask questions directly.
What does this mean?
From 1 January 2027, logging into Silverbucket will take you directly to the new interface. The old interface will no longer be accessible. All your data remains intact — nothing is lost in the transition.
What do we get? What do we lose?
You get access to everything we have built and continue to build in the new interface: improved notifications, better availability and sorting views, updated competencies, milestones, permissions, and a growing training library. Upcoming features — including AI-assisted resourcing — will only be available in the new interface.
You lose access to the old interface itself. If there are specific workflows your team relies on that you are concerned about, please send your questions to support@silverbucket.com.
How to get training for new interface?
We will arrange webinars to give general introduction to new user interface and you are able to ask questions there. Webinars will be recorded and available for further review in our HelpCenter site. We will gather also more material to our Training Library for feature specific instructions.
Send them to support@silverbucket.com. We are collecting all questions received over the summer and will publish answers in our Help Centre in August. We will also be hosting live Q&A webinars in Finnish and English — dates and registration details will follow after the summer.
