Assigning resources to projects can be done in a few different ways:
Through the view / single view by clicking "+ Add project membership" which is located top of the already-listed memberships (and also below the listed memberships)

The Assign Dialog automatically evaluates people based on three key factors and scores each one from 0 to 100:
- — whether the person has the capacity to take on the role during the relevant period
- — whether the person has the required competencies at the required levels
- — whether the person's default role matches the required role
To make it easy to compare candidates at a glance, each score is color-coded: indicates a best match, a partial match, and a weak match.
The Role and User fields both support multi-selection, allowing you to add several project memberships in one go rather than repeating the process individually.
To add multiple at once, click the Role field and check all the roles you want to add. Each selected role will be added as a separate unassigned membership, and a summary of what is about to be added is shown at the bottom of the page before you confirm.
To add multiple at once, select a single role and then check all the relevant users in the User field. Each selected user will be added to the project under that role. Note that when multiple users are selected, only one role can be chosen. If you leave the Role field empty and select multiple users, each person will be assigned their own default role.
Some of the fields are automatically populated based on how you navigated into the view. fields are marked with an asterisk*.
