Tracking resource availability and utilisation
In addition to some of Silverbucket's reports, the PEOPLE main view is a powerful place to track who are available for projects and how utilised your employees are. To track availability and utilisation of people, the filters "Allocation status" and "Utilisation range" are a good choice. You can find these filters under the FILTER section - which is shown in all of Silverbucket's views - under the category "PEOPLE":
By allocation status is a much more slack choice: it simply looks for people that either have allocations or do not have allocations for the period shown in the resourcing section below. So, if a person has even the tiniest bit of resourcing in the shown time period, that person will show up in the listing below. Utilisation range is a tool for more in-depth situations: it allows you to list people whose utilisation is by average within a given range of utilisation between a certain time period. So, if you enter the start date "1.12.2023" and end date "31.12.2023" and also enter the Utilisation range value to 25-50, Silverbucket will list you all the people that are resourced 25-50% of their capacity on average in that time period.
