Competency requirements of Unassigned roles
In some cases you don`t yet know who is the right person to work on a project, but you know which competencies are required to accomplish that work. For this you can resource an unassigned role for your project and set competency requirements for that role.
When you have created unassigned role need for a project, click the three dots beside the role and select 'Edit project role'.

Next you will see the view where you can edit this project role and set required competencies by clicking MODIFY REQUIREMENTS.

Then select the required competencies or the entire competency category to from the listing or by searching 'must have all' by clicking AND or 'must have at least one' by clicking OR. You can also select the minimum level of the competency from the arrow on the right side of the competency. After your selection is ready, press save changes and you get back to the Edit project roles view.
If you want to find suitable person with the required competencies for this role, click users with required skills and you'll be directed to PEOPLE ALLOCATIONS view. The view is populated with the users that have the required skill set and you can allocate this role need for the desired person.

TIP! If you want to see all the unassigned roles with certain competencies and people with these competencies in the same view, you can set the same competencies under both PEOPLE and UNASSIGNED filters. This way you can easily match people and role needs in the same people allocation view.
