Managing competencies on person's view
In the COMPETENCIES tab on person's view you can see all the competencies in the system and also evaluate competencies for yourself or for another person, if your user rights allow this. In this view you can see current comptencies, target competencies and the level of these competencies particular person has in each the category.
COMPETENCY CATEGORY AND COMPETENCIES - Every category and competency are listed in the left. You can collapse and expand these categories as you wish.
CURRENT COMPETENCIES (green) the person's current competencies.
TARGET LEVEL COMPETENCIES (yellow) shows the person's desired competency levels. You can decide whether or not target levels are used in your environment from the admin view under 'System settings' in the old user interface view. More information here.
EVALUATE - To evaluate a competency or target competency, simply click on the desired level next to it. By clicking that same space again, the evaluation value resets.
FREE TEXT SEARCH - From the magnifier, you can search for a specific competency by typing the name of the competency.
SHOW UNEVALUATED COMPETENCIES - You can decide if you wish to see only evaluated competencies or also unevaluated ones.
SORT BY - You can sort the list of competencies in various different ways.
COLOUR CODING - Coloured numbering beside the competency category name describes how many of the competencies in this category are unevaluated competencies (grey), evaluated competencies (green) and evaluated target competencies (yellow) for this specific person.
