Step 1: Access the Allocation Grid
.1Start by accessing the allocation grid where you want to perform drag and drop operations.
And group the project members with the instance you want to drag and drop between.
Step 2: Locate the Project Member
.1Within the allocation grid, identify the project member you wish to move. You can typically find project members listed alongside their respective roles, tasks, or projects.

Step 3: Initiate the Drag and Drop Action
.1To initiate the drag and drop action:a. Select the Project Member: Click on the project member you want to move. The member should become visually selected or highlighted.b. Initiate Drag: While holding down the mouse button, drag the selected project member to the desired destination.
Step 4: Drop the Project Member
.1Release the mouse button to drop the project member at the new location. Depending on your allocation grid's grouping, you can perform the following actions:
Promote to an Another User: Drag the project member to the target user within the same project.
Reassign to a Different Role: Drag the project member to the target role within the same project.
Move to a Different Task: Drag the project member to the desired task within the same project.
Transfer to Another Project: To move the project member to a different project, drag and drop them onto the project title or designated area.
