Making allocations

Making allocations is a straightforward process that allows you to efficiently manage resources and distribute work assignments. This guide will walk you through the steps to make allocations effectively.


Step 1: Access the Dashboard

    .1Start by accessing the person's dashboard. The dashboard serves as a central hub where you can gain a quick overview of allocations and free capacity for each individual.
  • Navigate to the dashboard by  Silverbucket Search .
    .2The dashboard provides a visual representation of each person's current allocations, making it easier to identify areas that require attention or additional work.


Step 2: Identify Allocation Needs

    .1Once you are on the person's dashboard, take a moment to analyze the allocation data. Look for:
  • Underallocated Resources: Identify areas where individuals have capacity available, indicating opportunities for more work assignments.
  • Overallocated Resources: Find allocations that need adjustment or reallocation to ensure a balanced workload.



Step 3: Making Allocations

    .1Making allocations is a breeze with our intuitive interface:a. Select Allocation Boxes: To begin, click and drag to select the allocation boxes you wish to edit. You can select one or multiple boxes simultaneously.b. Popover Menu: After selecting one or more allocation boxes, a popover menu will appear. This menu allows you to input new values for the selected allocations.c. Adjustment Options: Within the popover, you will find options to:
  • Choose a predefined value: There is typical predefine values visible that you choose simply by clicking the value.
  • Input a detailed value: You can manually enter a value you want.
  • Hit Max value: There is also an option to click MAX button. This will try to align person's allocations to the capacity available. Either by adding more allocations for the selected box or by decreasing them.
